Varied faces of Peonies

Peonies are one of the most popular wedding flowers.

They have gorgeous texture and volume.
They can look tightly bundled or blossoming with feather like petals.

They also come in many many colors!

One thing to note, however, is that this is a flower that blooms in the Spring. If your wedding is not in the spring or summer, it will be difficult to acquire and therefore more expensive!

Take a look at these beautiful collections of peonies.

These are all so gorgeous but they convey such a different tone!
By adding color or texture, it changes the mood of the bouquet.

Thankful Thursday: Caitlin and Ben

I do not hide my love for our troops.
Some Thursdays, I will dedicate the blog to thanking our Troops and their loved ones.
It's my way of showing my respect, for how much - how deeply our service members and families sacrifice for our every day freedom.

Thank you.

Isn't this video just touching?

Beautiful Bridesmaids

Back in old tradition originated from Roman law, it was required that a couple getting married have ten witnesses at their nuptuals.  These witnesses were there to outsmart evil spirits who attended the ceremonies. The girls were dressed in identical clothing so that the evil spirits wouldn't know who was getting married.

Well, thank goodness, there aren't evil spirits attending our weddings now!
And everybody doesn't have to wear the same outfit!

Your girls can be there to help you make a statement.
They can wear similar or same colored dresses to compliment your wedding theme.

A little Lilly Pulitzer

Isn't this lace and color just fantastic?

Black is nice, but a splash of color takes it up a notch!

More color!

Or how about something your guests don't expect?

J Crew allows you to pick a color and your girls can pick a style that works for her own body!
There are some fantastic fabrics and vibrant colors that won't restrict you!

Or something classic

Or maybe you do want your bridesmaids to dress similarly, so you choose nude for them

Something more casual, perhaps is your style.

You have so many options!
What will you do? How are you deciding what to do?

Short, be damned! (Short haired brides!)

Are you a short haired bride?

I've been asked by girls with short hair about what they should do for their wedding do. It sounds like they feel limited by the number of styles they can have on their special day.

This is not the case. Look at these gorgeous girls below and you tell me how different each and every single one looks!

Don't feel limited by the length of your hair. There are so many pretty things it can do (without getting extensions!).  You can definitely let your personality shine too!
 Just watch...
